Clean Eating Meatballs

To my ever so faithful readers, I so sorry for neglecting you. I haven't posted as of late because I had a deadline for an article to write.  Never fear it has been submitted so I am back and as committed as ever to you!
 Mother's Day is coming! I have an amazing recipe to share with you for it! it is one of my favorites and is a wonderful clean recipe. What are you all doing for to celebrate Mother's Day? My 4 year old son just told me he was going to get me the Rattlesnake Skylander for Mother's Day. So thoughtful of him. LOL it is very cute to see how a 4 year old mind works. Gosh, I love that kid to pieces. He amazes me everyday.

 This recipe is very simple and versatile! I made this Italian style and didn't add any veggies to it but you totally can! Almost any shredded veggie would taste great in my meatballs! The sauce I used is my homemade Sweet and Spicy Strawberry BBQ Sauce. It is amazing and I promise my next post I do will be the recipe for it!

Clean Eating Meatballs


1.5lbs lean, ground beef
1 egg lightly beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp ground mustard
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp sea salt

Pre heat oven to 350

1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with your hands.

2. Spray a 9x13 pan with olive oil spray.

3. Form into 12 meatballs.

4. Place meatballs on pan and cook in the oven for 30-40 mins.

5. Meatballs will be done once they reach 165 F.
