A Healthy Snack

A part of the Paleo lifestyle is making sure you don't go to long with out eating. You should have 3 meals and between those meals a snack. You want to keep your metabolism working and to do that you need to eat. Here is a very healthy and satisfying snack. The the dried coconut and walnuts give it a crunch while the raw hone satisfies your sweet tooth.



Ingredients

1 organic banana
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
raisins
1 tbsp raw honey
dried coconut flakes
walnuts

This is a very simple recipe. I probably don't even need to tell you how to do it. You can pretty much tell from the picture. Slice a banana length wise, spread 1 tbsp of peanut butter on each half, add as many raisins as you would like, sprinkle with coconut flakes and walnuts and then drizzle honey over the top.

Delicious and satisfying!
