I was in charge of making the dessert. I wanted to do something easy and delicious. We had gone to the store and saw that Korean strawberries were in season. Let me tell you, these are crack strawberries. They are the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. They are huge, so sweet and juicy. Way better than the strawberries in the states. when I was pregnant with Lily I craved these strawberries. I would send my husband to Emart (Korean grocery store) to buy a huge case of them and I would eat them all up in a week. If you ever have the chance to come to Korea, make sure and eat the strawberries.
I found this recipe from Pinterest (where I get all my recipes. I'm a pinterest addict). The best thing about this recipe, besides the Nutella of course, is there are only 4 ingredients! Can't beat that! You can find the recipe here Cooking Classy. I didn't change a thing, just added the Korean strawberries.
1 cup heavy whipping cream
8oz package cream cheese
3 tbsp powdered sugar
3/4 cup nutella
1. Mix the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. I used a whisk because I stupidly put my beaters in storage before we moved here. beaters would be much faster! In a seprate bowl mix together the powdered sugar, cream cheese and nutella. Once that is well blended fold in the heavy cream.
Voila! All done. Serve with fresh fruits, crackers or just eat with a spoon. It's that good!
