Nana's Crock Pot Chili

It's that time of year! Take out your crock pot and make all those delicious fall recipes! The first one I made was chili. We love chili. A great thing about it is you can make it so many different ways. The recipe I used this time is actually my Nana's. I mortified it a little but still mostly her recipe!

Nana's Crock Pot Chili

Ingredients

2  pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2-29oz can crushed tomato
1 chopped yellow bell pepper
1 chopped orange bell pepper
1 small bag frozen corn
2 large cans Bushes baked beans (I use the maple kind)
1 can black beans
1 cup ketchup
12 oz can tomato paste
1 jar of jalapenos (we like it spicy!)
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tbsp chipotle chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt

1. Brown ground beef. Saute chopped onion. Add everything to the crock pot. Stir together. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours. This is a large batch of chili. If you don't need that much just cut the ingredients in half.
