We found out yesterday that we are having a girl! We are so excited! I am 19 weeks (almost half way through!). I am still throwing up every single day but it is much more manageable now that I am on Zofran. I am also starting to get some energy back. Yesterday I spent the entire day out! Haha for those of you who never have experienced HG this is a pretty bug deal. I have been stuff on the couch for months now. It was really nice to get out and experience some of Korea. We went to the clinic to find out what we were having and then walked around some shops near the clinic and then went out to lunch at the AK Plaza and out for ice cream for dessert. I had the best ice cream ever! Caramel Praline Cheesecake OMG it was AMAZING!
For those of you that have been following my blog, I am so sorry that I have not been keeping up with posts. I am hoping that I will continue to feel energized and will be able to make more posts.
Another big change for us will be moving on post. I do like our apartment off post but I have to be honest I do not like living in Korea. I think that moving on post will be a very good mood for our family. However, I am hoping that once I am no longer pregnant my attitude will change towards Korea. It is very difficult being pregnant here. You do not get the same care here that you would in the United States. We live in Area 3 and the hospital that I will be delivering at is in Seoul. With out traffic Seoul is about a two hour drive from us but there is almost always traffic so you could be looking at 3 hour drive to the hospital. Lets hope I don't end giving birth on the side of the highway!
Here are a few pictures from our outing yesterday:
Here's our bay girl! She is laying upside down. That's her spine that you see on the top and her legs are curled under her
Here's my little guy rockin his new Mohawk! I can't believe he will be three in April!
Looking adorable while eating his yummy ice cream!
I hope everyone has an amazing day! I have a couple great recipes that I will be posting soon!
