Chicken can get kind of boring after a while. Always cooking it the same way, grilled, fried, baked always the same. This is a different take on a chicken recipe. It's very easy and most of these ingredients you will probably already have on hand. I only used a pound of chicken and wish I had used more. This recipe was eaten up so fast, there was no left overs!
Place chicken thighs ing the crock pot ans season
Combine ingredients to make the honey sauce
Pour sauce over chicken and cook in crock pot on low for 4 - 4 1/4 hours
1lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp red pepper flakes
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to season
2tbsp olive oil or you can use veg oil
2. In a medium bowl combine the remaining ingredients and stir well.
3. Pour over chicken thighs. Cook on low for 4 - 4 1/2 hours.
4. last 15 mins remove chicken thighs from crock pot and cut into pieces. Add pieces of chicken back in to crock pot and cook in sauce for another 15 mins. You want the chicken piece to soak up the sauce.
